On Wednesday's We Wear Pink

Everyone has went crazy with pink today as it is Mean Girls' 10th anniversary today. Personally I absolutely LOVE the film. So today I wore pink to represent one of my favourite movies. And thanks to the asos delivery woman I got to wear more pink as my new amazing coat arrived today.

I got 3 items today delivered from ASOS and wanted to share them with everyone.

First off I repurchased Benefits Bo-oing concelear in shade 02. This was recommended to me by tonnes of people and many of my friends used it, so since I love every other Benefit product I had tried I thought it was worth a shot. And everyone was completely right, Benefit got it on point again. I've been using Benefit for about 5 years now, and love every product I get. It is cream based rather than liquid, and stays on for the whole day, giving red marks and spots complete coverage. I would recommend this to everyone!

Next I thought I'd try one of the 'Rimmel London 1000 Kisses Lip Tints' as they were doing a 35% off beauty products so it was only £4. How could you say no at £4? It is double ended, one end with the lip tint with the applicator similar to a felt tip marker and the other side with a lip balm 'to moisture and gloss your lips'. I got the one in the shade '300 Perpetual Plum'.

Lastly, is the favourite thing I've possibly ever purchased. I have been looking for a pink coat forever and when the one I have been looking at went into asos's 50% of 50 items I HAD to have it. It is so so beautiful. The coat is petite exclusive and a fluffy sort of material in a pastel pink colour. Everyone needs this coat in their wardrobe.

I finished off my day with a cheese and bacon beef burger and peri peri chips at handmade burger co, and it was absolutely amazing.

Solait Tinted Bronzing Lotion

Trying to find a good fake tan that is reasonably priced was a challenge, but when I found this one I knew it was perfect.

I've tried a lot of different tans, but all I was really looking for is a non-wash off, non-streaky, dark but natural looking tan. And I've got all of these with Superdrug's 'Solait Tinted Bronzing Lotion'.

It comes in three different shades 'light', 'medium to dark' and 'dark. Personally I have quite fair skin but do use the 'medium to dark' and it is the perfect colour I need for a night out. Apply the tan the tight before and by morning you have a glowing tan, with only one coat required, with it still staying lovely after washing it off.

I often get asked which tan is used, and always recommend this tan to anyone who's looking to try something different that works amazingly. This is the tan you must try, and it is only £6.99. What is even better is Superdrug regularly have offers on these tanning products. This particular tan that I use is a cream based one, however you can get mousse, foam, shimmer effect, even wipes.

This is the best tan I have ever came across. Everyone needs this in their life!!

Have you tried this tan before? What tan do you use?

O.P.I 'Glitter' Nail Varnish Remover

I used to wear glitter nail varnish all the time, not as much anymore but still quite regularly. However, the biggest problem is getting it off. It is an absolute nightmare!!! Like wearing them would not be as bad if it was as simple to get off like normal nail varnish.
Then I came across what was named 'O.P.I Glitter Nail Varnish Remover' on ASOS and I thought my life was complete. I remember seeing it for £6 and thinking it was such a bargain, but now thinking about it £6 for nail varnish remover is kind of a joke. The actual name for it is O.P.I Expert Touch Nail Polish Remover for Glitter Nail Varnish. I have many O.P.I nail varnishes already, especially the Kardashian Kolor collection - being a big Kardashian fan - so thought it would be amazing.

After giving it a try I still do not know my final opinion on it. As when removing glitter nail varnish with this remover on cotton wool, it makes the cotton wool stick to your nail and then you can peel it off easily. However, I am unsure whether this is what it is meant to do or not. So if this is the purpose of it then I'd highly recommend it as it is a quicker method of getting glitter nail varnish off, as with other nail varnish removers I know I'm there forever trying to get it off.

I do only use this when taking off glitter nail varnish, as I use a cheaper alternative remover for normal varnishes.

7. Heels 8. Crop Top 9. Sunglasses 10. Trousers

Pastel and Black

Today has been such an emotional day. It was my last ever day at high school, and I already miss it. Knowing there's no going back... ever. Will never sit in there having lunch or chats with friends or have any sort of school get together. So sad, but I guess, that is life.

Anyway, back to the post. My friends and I took a trip to the cinema - highly recommend you go see 'the other woman' - and it was the perfect opportunity to wear my new top.

What I'm Wearing

Top - H&M £12.99
Jeans - ASOS Rivington in Black £28
Trainers - Nike Roshe Run (Junior) £40
Bracelets - Pandora and Michael Kors

These jeans are by far the best ones yet. They are so high-waisted and very comfortable, also available in all different colours. I would highly recommend the Rivington jean if looking on asos.
Also I absolutely adore my Roshe Runs. Thee comfiest shoe you will find. Perfect for running, the gym and casual wear, just how I am wearing them above.

This was a pretty poor post, but unfortunately I've not got tonnes of time. I also need to invest on a better way to take photos of myself instead of through the mirror. If you have any tips that would be great.

Co-ords, Co-ords

My favourite trend right now has to be co-ords.

I mean 1. it's such an easy outfit to put together and 2. they look amazing

Missguided and Motel Rocks are so on point with their co-ord sets right now. So much so that I couldn't resist spending £35 for one at Motel Rocks. It was too amazing not to buy.

Top  - £9.99
Skirt - £14.99

Missguided have many different pastel coloured ones - another of my favourite trends at the moment - along with many others, from tops with either skirts, shorts or trousers. All perfect for spring/summer and very reasonably priced. Must have for summer holidays! Will definitely be purchasing a few after pay day! The one to the left will be my first purchase.

What the co-ord looks like on

Co-ord on the website
I already own a co-ord set from Motel Rocks, that I briefly mentioned above. I fell in love with this set as soon as I got an email from Motel making me aware that it was new in, but already out of stock. So when receiving the email to say it was back in stock I HAD to have it, there was no question. This product actually used the last of my money last month - that's how much it was worth it. It is known as the Motel Kimmy Skirt and Folly Crop Pack in Churches. It is shown as white and a dark grey on the website, however when it arrived it is actually lilac. But it doesn't bother me as it still looks amazing. Although, I would advise a better picture on the website, as this may annoy and upset people. The set is £35 together, however if you buy them separately the top is £18 and the skirt is £22.

I cannot wait to buy more sets for the summer. Do you like this trend? Which co-ords are on your wishlist or do you have already?

First of Many Hauls

Shopping is my addiction.

I was just quickly at the shops today to collect shoes from Next and ended up picking up a few things unexpectedly. In my defence I do need to get summer clothes for both my holidays.
Next Mono Two Part Pointed Shoe; £22

So here we go..

What I originally went to the shops for were these amazing shoes. I saw them first when shopping with my mum last week, and when we got to the checkout I was given a £10 off voucher when creating an account, so I couldn't say no to these shoes. They ended up at £12. The toe is pointed, which is black suede and the heel is white faux leather. They look beautiful and are very sturdy shoes. I got these in a size 5, and will have to exchange them for the 4. I've been a size 5 for about 6 years and all of a sudden my feet must have shrunk.

River Island Silver T bad barely there
stiletto sandals; £45
As I have my school leavers (prom) coming up I had to get shoes to wear with my amazing new dress. The ones I wanted were Steve Madden from House of Fraser but unfortunately they have been out of stock everywhere for weeks now so I had no way of getting my hands on them. Very gutted. So these were the next best thing. They are just from River Island and only £45. Such a good price, as I did not see why I should spend a fortune as I would only wear them once and probably never again. They are known as the 'Silver T bar barely there stiletto sandals' and are available in many different colours. They have a buckle strap around the ankle, which will help keep them on. I also had to get these in a size 4, although the woman in the store did say they were made big. They are about 4.5 inches high (11cm) and I cannot wait to wear them (once I'm able to walk in them).

H&M Sweatshirt Top; £12.99
Next I went into H&M to return some items that were too big. I immediately fell in love with this top. It is a pastel pink - my favourite colour at the moment - with PALM SPRINGS wrote across the chest area. It has short sleeves that are already turned up and in an almost sweatshirt material. It was £12.99 and I'm sure they sold it in a pale yellow colour as well, and many different designs of the same style. It looks like the top would be cropped but it does cover your belly button and when wearing high-waisted jeans it does cover all of the zip on hem.

H&M Cropped Top; £3.99
I came across another top in H&M that was so pretty. I am also in love with palm tree print at the minute, so when I saw pink palm trees on a top I had to have it. As I was looking for my size, I saw the price tag which was only... £3.99, now how could you say no to that? It is cropped, which sits quite a bit up from my belly button and I'd say was quite a big size XS. However, it is perfect for summer and I love it. Currently they seem to have dropped their prices with most of their cropped tops being this price, and skirts as low as £3.99 as well. Amazing bargains for summer!!

Socks - Next £7,
Umbrella - H&M £4.99,
Wet Wipes - H&M 99p
Lastly I got some essentials that I need, which are pretty boring but I will mention them anyway. The skate shoes I got from Topshop rub slightly on my feet so I had to get those socks that cover your heels and toes - I have no idea what they are called but I hope you get the idea? If you know what they are known as please let me know! I did manage to get 3 pairs for £7 from Next thankfully, as I had none at home so couldn't wear my new shoes much.  I also bought a new umbrella for £4.99 from h&m as mines broke in the wind and rain a few weeks ago. It is just a plain black one as usual.
Finally I picked up 'fresh vanilla hand and face wet wipes' from h&m purely because they smelt amazing and were 99p.

This was a pretty short haul but I felt like I've wrote tonnes. All items were bought from Fort Kinnaird, Edinburgh and are all still available in stores. Any comments are much appreciated and your opinions on what I bought would be lovely.

Much Love.

Eyebrow defining

I'm no Cara Delevingne. But when it comes to eyebrows they have to always be on point. I mean awful eyebrows are just my worst nightmare. Personally, I have awkward eyebrows as there are gaps in them which means I need to pencil them in everyday anyway. However, finding the perfect eyebrow pencil seems to be a challenge and I have currently settled for one by Collection. I have also tried ones previously by Maybelline and Rimmel.

1. Maybelline Eye Brow Pencil
I've looked everywhere to see what this is exactly called and cannot find it anywhere and is no longer on Boots or Superdrug's website, so maybe it no longer exists. I have no idea. I'd say this one was my second favourite. This one is easy to apply (smooth not rough), is a light shade - useful as I have fair eyebrows - and has a brow brush on the other end.
The down side to this one is it has to be sharpened, which I'm really not a fan of as most of the pencil ends up in the sharpener and it can never be perfected to how it comes when you originally buy it.

2. Rimmel Professional Eye Brow Pencil
This one was bought in an emergency, as I had not realised I ran out of my previous one. It was the only eyebrow pencil close to my eyebrow colour in the entire shop. I personally do not like it, as it is too rough when applying and my eyebrows look fake. I got it in the colour Hazel which was the lightest colour, but was still far too dark.

3. Collection Eyebrow Definer Pencil
I've never ever used a Collection product ever, but when I saw that this one didn't even need sharpened I had to have it. It is by far the best one I've tried yet and I'd recommend it to anyone. AND it was only £2.79!! I'd so recommend this, absolutely amazing,

What eyebrow pencil do you recommend?

Primark Candles

Candles are my new obsession.

I took a trip to Primark and decided to buy a few candles to see what the fuss was about them. I never really got why people loved burning candles so much, but now I know. So I bought 2 candles, one a basic vanilla and another one watermelon.

They both smell absolutely amazing and they were so cheap I couldn't believe it. Well it was Primark. The vanilla one was just £1, and looks like it will last quite a long time. The smell is not too strong, yet is just right for you to be able to catch the unbelievable smell that it gives off. You would not think it was from Primark.

The watermelon one, is my favourite thing ever. I also have a current obsession with things with watermelons on it, purely because of Beyonce's song 'Drunk in Love'. So when I saw this candle I knew I had to have it. And it was only £1.50. Unfortunately, I do not have a photo of how it was when I bought it as I immediately started burning it. But basically, it was just a pink candle but had a watermelon on the top of it, and now most of the watermelon is gone. That is the only disappointing bit, the watermelon goes first. Luckily I do have a photo of it after it has been burnt, so you will get a rough idea on what it looks like.
I will definitely be going back to get more, as they had many different scents, and at that price you cannot complain.

Hello Spring Wardrobe

Today the weather was 'highs of 13 degrees' which for Scotland in April is pretty fabulous. Even if it did still feel cold, at least there was no rain or wind.

Every Easter for 7 years now I have spent it at my aunties friends house, whom basically invites everyone she knows for a BBQ. So that meant I could wear a spring styled outfit. Result.

My face was originally in that picture but it looked too fugly to post so I had to make do with no face. I absolutely love this outfit. I also got to break in my new topshop shoes.

What I wore

Kimono - H&M (Sisters)

Cami - New Look (915 section)

Jeans - Asos

Shoes - Topshop

Bracelet - Pandora (Gift from friends)

H&M Body Spray

I visited London for the first time this January and fell in love with it, especially the shopping. It was also my first visit to Victoria Secret's and could have spent the entire day there.. however, we simply had no time.

I did come across the 'Coconut Passion Body Mist' which is absolutely delightful, and regret only buying 1 bottle.

So when visiting H&M on Tuesday, I came across a Vanilla Body Spray, which I thought I'd try out - as it was only £1.99 -  hoping it would be similar.  Unfortunately, it was not great at all, the smell was barely there. Whether it's just because I'm comparing it to another one or not but I generally think it has no proper scent to it.

There were however, different scents so I may go back and try another one as I don't have a better one to compare it with and see if that is much better.

It can be found here: http://www.hm.com/gb/product/25154?article=25154-A

and looks like this..

Topshop Skate Shoes

So most of my posts are going to be reviews of products I have recently bought, or talking about products I would like or have heard good/bad things about.

A friend of mine had bought the skater shoes from topshop in black and I immediately fell in love. I'd usually also go for the black option, however since it is now spring I decided to opt for the baby pink. Which is now my new favourite colour for clothing.

I personally would highly recommend these shoes to ANYONE. The only con is they aren't too comfy to begin with, but after breaking them in (taking about a day) they are completely fine. The colour is beautiful and perfect for spring/summer. I would't advise to wear them to somewhere they could get dirty as it would ruin the colour of the shoe.

The shoe has a croc print effect and are slip on, so take no time or effort to spend forever tying laces or stopping to fix them when they have untied.  And the best thing of all is they are only £20!!!! A complete bargain for topshop.

I will most definitely be going back to get them in black and I'm hoping they will be released in different colours in time for summer.

You will find them here: http://www.topshop.com/en/tsuk/product/shoes-430/flats-459/skaters-2722266/tika2-embossed-snake-skaters-2704439?bi=1&ps=20

Welcome

Hello... So basically, I have been thinking recently about making a fashion based blog. After watching Youtube videos from people like Zoella, Becca Rose and Lily Melrose, I wanted to do something similar, however being on camera is NOT for me.

As the majority of my money goes on shoes and clothes, I am always buying new things, and would LOVE to share them and my opinion on them with all other fashion lovers.

Starting up a blog must be the hardest part, by trying to make people aware of you and the blog. So if you are reading and like the sound of this please feel free to share with anyone and everyone.

Much love.
