Yet Another Haul // ASOS

ASOS is my all time favourite shop, so when they have offers on for a limited time I always have to grab something. Although now I've banned myself, which is proving difficult as I have another few pieces of makeup due tomorrow.

ASOS Clutch Bag with Scallop Flap
Every time I go out I always take my big Kardashian Kollection bag, but I love the idea of taking a clutch. So I decided as I have many events coming up it was time to purchase a clutch. This is the one I chose, it was only £7 and is the perfect size for going out. It also has a long strap if you decide you want to wear it over your shoulder rather than carrying it. A monochrome bag is perfect as it goes with pretty much everything and I can't wait to use it. I have attached a link but it seems to have sold out.

Monki Miracle Black Snake Zip Around Purse
When I go out I don't usually take as much with me in my purse, however the purse I use everyday is too big for a clutch. So I decided that I'd just buy a purse that I'd use when I didn't need all my cards and just some cash. This was only £4.50, such a great buy!! And most of all it fits nicely inside my new clutch.

ASOS Pug Socks
I do not even have to justify myself for these socks, they have pugs on them!! These are the cutest socks (along with my percy pig ones), I didn't even check the price before adding them to bag. And they were only £3, I may need to get myself some more!!

Rimmel London Wake Me Up Concealer
This (as well as the wake me up foundation) has been raved about on so many blogs and youtube videos so I thought I'd give it a go, seeing as it was only £4. I got it in the shade 020 and really do hope it is as good as it's made out to be.

Patisserie De Bain Lip Balm
I already have a tonne of lip balms, but this one looked so pretty and is in the flavour of 'strawberry cupcake' so couldn't say no.

Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine Nail Paint
'Rose Hip' is a colour of Barry M polish that everyone is getting, so I jumped on the bandwagon as I adore Barry M nail polishes. Unfortunately I'm apparently not allowed to wear nail varnish to work, so when I'll be able to try this out I'm unsure :(. Right now ASOS are selling these at just £3!!

I am waiting for another parcel but it just has another Rimmel colour balm and a new primer, not too exciting. Come by tomorrow for a review on the Rimmel Colour Balms. Have you been loving asos lately too?

New Look & H&M // Haul

As I am going on holiday with my friends in just over a month I've officially started 'summer holiday' shopping as I want to buy basically a whole new wardrobe. Whether that'll be affordable or not is another thing. But on the plus side I basically have all my Euros that I need sorted. Phew, one less stress!

So I bought a few basic things for my holiday whilst out shopping at the weekend.

First off I went into New Look, originally for a bikini I had wanted that went into the sale but went out of stock :(. But I ended up with a few things anyway.

After buying my Topshop skate shoes I needed to buy these kind of socks to wear with them, and only having 3 pairs I thought I'd purchase some more. I managed to get 3 pairs for £2.99, absolute bargain.

I don't actually own many pairs of sandals as I threw all my old ones out recently, so when I spotted these in New Look I was drawn to them. the gold detail around the front is what made me love them so much, because of this I thought they'd be more expensive than they were. But no, they were £7.99!!!!! I was so shocked at how cheap they were I thought it was a misprint, but no they were that price. There were many different colours so I may need to go back and get more.

Lastly, I picked up a bag as the one I had been using everyday broke :(. I'd grudged paying around £45 for a bag in river island, so when I saw this bag in the New Look sale I had to have it. £9 for a bag, what more could you want in life. This actually made my day and I've been using it every day since I got it. It's the perfect size that fits all my essentials in, and has a long strap so I can wear it on my shoulder and a phone pocket and zipped pocket inside.  It is an absolute dream. However, it doesn't seem to appear on the website I'm afraid.

I've fell in love with so much in H&M at the moment, but I didn't get as much as I wanted as they never seem to have my size in at my local store, so I'm going to visit the ones in the centre and hopefully get some pieces there.

I did manage to pick up this playsuit that I've had my eye on for weeks, I did get the size up as they didn't have my size (shock) so I'm hoping this fits as I'm yet to try it on. It is a sort of chevron black and white playsuit that is fitted at the waist and has a criss cross finish to the back. Perfect for summer, and at only £12.99 you can't really go wrong.

I also bought 4 basic crop tops in 4 colours: black, grey, bright pink and white. I did have a photo of these but it would not let me upload so I'm sorry about that. They are most likely going to be in your local h&m along with the rest of the basics. They were £1.99 each, I mean how could anyone complain at that. Which is the main reason I bought one in every colour (well every colour available in my size, there was also a yellow one). They are the perfect summer essential, perfect for by the pool or a trip to the beach.

So I realise this is a pretty long winded post, but I hope you enjoy. Have you started your holiday shopping yet?

New Beauty Bits

As I got paid on Friday (finally  - it felt like I'd been waiting forever) I took a trip to the shops to treat myself. I have been reading so many blog posts lately (procrastinating whilst I should be revising - oops) and saw so many things that I knew I had to have my hands on. However, I'm saving for my holiday and need to buy new summery clothes to go away so had to limit myself.

Superdrug had their 3 for 2 across all beauty products offer on, so how could I turn it down. So I picked up 3 items from the makeup section and the tan I use was half price so it was a must have, although I have so many bottles already, I will never stop using tan.

Also in advance, sorry for poor quality photos, they've been taken on my iPhone as I have limited time at the moment to write up blog posts.

As I've been needing a new powder for so long I thought I'd give this one a try as I've been loving Rimmel products lately. I bought this in the lightest shade '01 - transparent' as I never like my powders being dark and do only use minimal of this so my skin doesn't look oily and shiny. I haven't tried this one yet, but will most likely do a review at some point

This is a much loved nail paint for bloggers this spring as it is a lovely pastel blue colour from Barry M's spring range. I originally wanted the pale pink 'Rose Hip' but they were unfortunately sold out, so I went for this one instead. I have a massive Barry M nail paint collection already and this will add nicely to it (I will do a blog post on this collection). I have used this and it's already on my nails, and I absolutely love it, such a perfect colour for the spring/summer.

I was never really a fan on wearing bright lip colours, but recently I've started wearing lipsticks more often. This colour balm is similar to the shape of a crayon and goes on smoothly and lasts a long time, mines is in the shade "Rumour Has It - 220" and I love it. I have tried this out already when going out on Friday night and I love it, it doesn't leave your lips dry at all and stayed on for the entire night, I'd definitely recommend this one and I plan on purchasing more in different colours.

I have previously done a blog post about this tan(here) raving about how much I love it, so won't go into detail about it. But I still adore this tan, and use it all the time and have yet to experience streaks etc with it.

Yet Another Shopping Trip

So today I went to return a pair of shoes to Next with my mum and sister and it ended up us spending 4 hours at the shops. This was mainly because my mum was treating my sister to basically a whole new wardrobe for her school trip to Spain, and since I am skint I managed to get a couple of things out her.

I have been looking for a maxi dress for a while now that I can wear to the airport for when I go on my first holiday of the summer with my friends. So as I was looking in H&M today I found the perfect dress. The dress is grey, with straps and has a sort of elasticated waist band so it comes in at the waist. It is the perfect length, however I will need to get it taken in at the top as it is too big for my bust/rib area. But apart from that I love it, and it was only £9.99!! The dress also comes in black and blue and I'm considering going back for the black one.

In a previous post I mentioned a crop top I got for £3.99. Well I spotted another one when I was in today. I don't really know how I'd describe the print, you will be able to decide for yourself with the photo, but it is either palm tree leafs or marijuana print. It is black, with white leafs/marijuana and is very cropped. For £3.99 you cannot complain and will look amazing with a pair of denim shorts on holiday.

I nipped into Superdrug as I ran out of my eyebrow pencil yesterday and cannot live without it so bought a new one. I wanted to try a different one but as I am going out tomorrow night I thought it was risky so stuck to the Collection Eyebrow Definer Pencil in shade Blonde. I have previously done a post on this if you'd like to know how amazing this product is, just click here. I also purchased some of Superdrug's eyelashes for tomorrow night as I have lost the ones I was going to use - typical. They're called Natural Edition 11 Lashes, I've never tried them before but hopefully they'll do the trick and be lovely.

First of Many Hauls

Shopping is my addiction.

I was just quickly at the shops today to collect shoes from Next and ended up picking up a few things unexpectedly. In my defence I do need to get summer clothes for both my holidays.
Next Mono Two Part Pointed Shoe; £22

So here we go..

What I originally went to the shops for were these amazing shoes. I saw them first when shopping with my mum last week, and when we got to the checkout I was given a £10 off voucher when creating an account, so I couldn't say no to these shoes. They ended up at £12. The toe is pointed, which is black suede and the heel is white faux leather. They look beautiful and are very sturdy shoes. I got these in a size 5, and will have to exchange them for the 4. I've been a size 5 for about 6 years and all of a sudden my feet must have shrunk.

River Island Silver T bad barely there
stiletto sandals; £45
As I have my school leavers (prom) coming up I had to get shoes to wear with my amazing new dress. The ones I wanted were Steve Madden from House of Fraser but unfortunately they have been out of stock everywhere for weeks now so I had no way of getting my hands on them. Very gutted. So these were the next best thing. They are just from River Island and only £45. Such a good price, as I did not see why I should spend a fortune as I would only wear them once and probably never again. They are known as the 'Silver T bar barely there stiletto sandals' and are available in many different colours. They have a buckle strap around the ankle, which will help keep them on. I also had to get these in a size 4, although the woman in the store did say they were made big. They are about 4.5 inches high (11cm) and I cannot wait to wear them (once I'm able to walk in them).

H&M Sweatshirt Top; £12.99
Next I went into H&M to return some items that were too big. I immediately fell in love with this top. It is a pastel pink - my favourite colour at the moment - with PALM SPRINGS wrote across the chest area. It has short sleeves that are already turned up and in an almost sweatshirt material. It was £12.99 and I'm sure they sold it in a pale yellow colour as well, and many different designs of the same style. It looks like the top would be cropped but it does cover your belly button and when wearing high-waisted jeans it does cover all of the zip on hem.

H&M Cropped Top; £3.99
I came across another top in H&M that was so pretty. I am also in love with palm tree print at the minute, so when I saw pink palm trees on a top I had to have it. As I was looking for my size, I saw the price tag which was only... £3.99, now how could you say no to that? It is cropped, which sits quite a bit up from my belly button and I'd say was quite a big size XS. However, it is perfect for summer and I love it. Currently they seem to have dropped their prices with most of their cropped tops being this price, and skirts as low as £3.99 as well. Amazing bargains for summer!!

Socks - Next £7,
Umbrella - H&M £4.99,
Wet Wipes - H&M 99p
Lastly I got some essentials that I need, which are pretty boring but I will mention them anyway. The skate shoes I got from Topshop rub slightly on my feet so I had to get those socks that cover your heels and toes - I have no idea what they are called but I hope you get the idea? If you know what they are known as please let me know! I did manage to get 3 pairs for £7 from Next thankfully, as I had none at home so couldn't wear my new shoes much.  I also bought a new umbrella for £4.99 from h&m as mines broke in the wind and rain a few weeks ago. It is just a plain black one as usual.
Finally I picked up 'fresh vanilla hand and face wet wipes' from h&m purely because they smelt amazing and were 99p.

This was a pretty short haul but I felt like I've wrote tonnes. All items were bought from Fort Kinnaird, Edinburgh and are all still available in stores. Any comments are much appreciated and your opinions on what I bought would be lovely.

Much Love.
