Yet Another Haul // ASOS

ASOS is my all time favourite shop, so when they have offers on for a limited time I always have to grab something. Although now I've banned myself, which is proving difficult as I have another few pieces of makeup due tomorrow.

ASOS Clutch Bag with Scallop Flap
Every time I go out I always take my big Kardashian Kollection bag, but I love the idea of taking a clutch. So I decided as I have many events coming up it was time to purchase a clutch. This is the one I chose, it was only £7 and is the perfect size for going out. It also has a long strap if you decide you want to wear it over your shoulder rather than carrying it. A monochrome bag is perfect as it goes with pretty much everything and I can't wait to use it. I have attached a link but it seems to have sold out.

Monki Miracle Black Snake Zip Around Purse
When I go out I don't usually take as much with me in my purse, however the purse I use everyday is too big for a clutch. So I decided that I'd just buy a purse that I'd use when I didn't need all my cards and just some cash. This was only £4.50, such a great buy!! And most of all it fits nicely inside my new clutch.

ASOS Pug Socks
I do not even have to justify myself for these socks, they have pugs on them!! These are the cutest socks (along with my percy pig ones), I didn't even check the price before adding them to bag. And they were only £3, I may need to get myself some more!!

Rimmel London Wake Me Up Concealer
This (as well as the wake me up foundation) has been raved about on so many blogs and youtube videos so I thought I'd give it a go, seeing as it was only £4. I got it in the shade 020 and really do hope it is as good as it's made out to be.

Patisserie De Bain Lip Balm
I already have a tonne of lip balms, but this one looked so pretty and is in the flavour of 'strawberry cupcake' so couldn't say no.

Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine Nail Paint
'Rose Hip' is a colour of Barry M polish that everyone is getting, so I jumped on the bandwagon as I adore Barry M nail polishes. Unfortunately I'm apparently not allowed to wear nail varnish to work, so when I'll be able to try this out I'm unsure :(. Right now ASOS are selling these at just £3!!

I am waiting for another parcel but it just has another Rimmel colour balm and a new primer, not too exciting. Come by tomorrow for a review on the Rimmel Colour Balms. Have you been loving asos lately too?

POREfessional

i really need to start scheduling my posts as I seem to be so busy that writing a post every day seems to just be impossible.

So, I have recently been shopping and I will split the haul into a few posts as I done a lot of shopping but for now I have a review on Benefit's Porefessional.

I have never actually bought a full sized one of this product, but I have had about 9 of the sample sizes that I get in the gift sets usually for my birthday and Christmas. The sample size lasts such a long time that it isn't really necessary to buy a full bottle, especially since it costs £24.50. But this product is by far one of my favourite things to use, as I have quite large pores on my nose area and as soon as I apply this they completely disappear. It is amazing! It is definitely a must have in my make up bag at all times.

Party, Party Take 2

I posted a blog post a few days ago(here) about the party I went to on Saturday night and explained that I would feature some of the professional photos, so that's exactly what I'm going to do, just as a fun post.

What I wore:

Benefit's Hoola

This product is just unreal. I have had it lying in my drawers for months and completely forgot I had 2 of them!! So as I was cleaning out my make-up I decided I would give it a try as it is raved about a lot.

It is said to be the 'UKs no 1 best selling bronzer' and I understand why. As it is matte based, there is no shimmer to it so with my oilyish skin it works a treat. It is the perfect shade of bronze, as I have tried some that are a bit too orange and look like it's went wrong. However, not this one, it is absolutely amazing. I can't see me switching to another bronzer in a very long time.

I have also used Benefit's 'One Hot Minute' bronzer and I did love that at the time but I prefer Hoola so much more. It comes with the perfect application brush as well, so what more could you want?

Have you tried this bronzer before? If you have, what's your opinion?

Mascara Reviews

I never really use the same mascara over again unless I really love it. But I thought I'd share my opinion on a few mascaras that I have tried recently.

1. Bad Gal Lash by Benefit
This is one of the first high end mascaras I tried out, I remember getting it for my 13th birthday and falling in love. I've had about 8 of these and still love it, although I don't use it much anymore I always seem to have one lying around. I absolutely love it, and I'd recommend it to anyone.

 2. Le Volume De Chanel Mascara by Chanel
So this is probably the best mascara out there, but it is a bit over my price range at the moment when saving for a holiday. I actually got this as a free sample as Chanel were giving them out to try online and I was lucky enough to get my hands on it. I will repurchase this again when I come home from my holiday, or possibly at duty free as it is £25.

3. Scandaleyes Retro Glam by Rimmel
I also adore this mascara, and is the one I am using at the moment. It leaves your eyelashes maximised and look amazing. I was actually going to put on false eyelashes last night but after using this I didn't need to as my lashes looked as if I already had. So on the plus side it saves time, stress of putting them on and money for eyelashes. Bonus!!

When I was tidying out my make up I found another 2 mascaras that I've never actually used before, so I'm going to give them a try and possibly review them in a few weeks.

Have you used any of these mascaras? Which mascara would you recommend?

Yet Another Shopping Trip

So today I went to return a pair of shoes to Next with my mum and sister and it ended up us spending 4 hours at the shops. This was mainly because my mum was treating my sister to basically a whole new wardrobe for her school trip to Spain, and since I am skint I managed to get a couple of things out her.

I have been looking for a maxi dress for a while now that I can wear to the airport for when I go on my first holiday of the summer with my friends. So as I was looking in H&M today I found the perfect dress. The dress is grey, with straps and has a sort of elasticated waist band so it comes in at the waist. It is the perfect length, however I will need to get it taken in at the top as it is too big for my bust/rib area. But apart from that I love it, and it was only £9.99!! The dress also comes in black and blue and I'm considering going back for the black one.

In a previous post I mentioned a crop top I got for £3.99. Well I spotted another one when I was in today. I don't really know how I'd describe the print, you will be able to decide for yourself with the photo, but it is either palm tree leafs or marijuana print. It is black, with white leafs/marijuana and is very cropped. For £3.99 you cannot complain and will look amazing with a pair of denim shorts on holiday.

I nipped into Superdrug as I ran out of my eyebrow pencil yesterday and cannot live without it so bought a new one. I wanted to try a different one but as I am going out tomorrow night I thought it was risky so stuck to the Collection Eyebrow Definer Pencil in shade Blonde. I have previously done a post on this if you'd like to know how amazing this product is, just click here. I also purchased some of Superdrug's eyelashes for tomorrow night as I have lost the ones I was going to use - typical. They're called Natural Edition 11 Lashes, I've never tried them before but hopefully they'll do the trick and be lovely.

On Wednesday's We Wear Pink

Everyone has went crazy with pink today as it is Mean Girls' 10th anniversary today. Personally I absolutely LOVE the film. So today I wore pink to represent one of my favourite movies. And thanks to the asos delivery woman I got to wear more pink as my new amazing coat arrived today.

I got 3 items today delivered from ASOS and wanted to share them with everyone.

First off I repurchased Benefits Bo-oing concelear in shade 02. This was recommended to me by tonnes of people and many of my friends used it, so since I love every other Benefit product I had tried I thought it was worth a shot. And everyone was completely right, Benefit got it on point again. I've been using Benefit for about 5 years now, and love every product I get. It is cream based rather than liquid, and stays on for the whole day, giving red marks and spots complete coverage. I would recommend this to everyone!

Next I thought I'd try one of the 'Rimmel London 1000 Kisses Lip Tints' as they were doing a 35% off beauty products so it was only £4. How could you say no at £4? It is double ended, one end with the lip tint with the applicator similar to a felt tip marker and the other side with a lip balm 'to moisture and gloss your lips'. I got the one in the shade '300 Perpetual Plum'.

Lastly, is the favourite thing I've possibly ever purchased. I have been looking for a pink coat forever and when the one I have been looking at went into asos's 50% of 50 items I HAD to have it. It is so so beautiful. The coat is petite exclusive and a fluffy sort of material in a pastel pink colour. Everyone needs this coat in their wardrobe.

I finished off my day with a cheese and bacon beef burger and peri peri chips at handmade burger co, and it was absolutely amazing.

O.P.I 'Glitter' Nail Varnish Remover

I used to wear glitter nail varnish all the time, not as much anymore but still quite regularly. However, the biggest problem is getting it off. It is an absolute nightmare!!! Like wearing them would not be as bad if it was as simple to get off like normal nail varnish.
Then I came across what was named 'O.P.I Glitter Nail Varnish Remover' on ASOS and I thought my life was complete. I remember seeing it for £6 and thinking it was such a bargain, but now thinking about it £6 for nail varnish remover is kind of a joke. The actual name for it is O.P.I Expert Touch Nail Polish Remover for Glitter Nail Varnish. I have many O.P.I nail varnishes already, especially the Kardashian Kolor collection - being a big Kardashian fan - so thought it would be amazing.

After giving it a try I still do not know my final opinion on it. As when removing glitter nail varnish with this remover on cotton wool, it makes the cotton wool stick to your nail and then you can peel it off easily. However, I am unsure whether this is what it is meant to do or not. So if this is the purpose of it then I'd highly recommend it as it is a quicker method of getting glitter nail varnish off, as with other nail varnish removers I know I'm there forever trying to get it off.

I do only use this when taking off glitter nail varnish, as I use a cheaper alternative remover for normal varnishes.
